  • Birth Date: November 20, 1981

Carlos Boozer, Jr., an up and coming basketball star. He's currently a member of the Utah Jazz NBA team, and he played collegiate basketball for Duke University (an NCAA basketball dynasty), and led his team to win the 2001 NCAA National Basketball Tournament.

Fame and fortune enticed him to give up his last year of NCAA eligibility, and he soon entered the 2002 NBA Draft. He was drafted in the second round of the NBA draft, by the Cleveland Cavaliers. He signed a restricted free agent agreement for 6 years and a total of $70 million, with the Utah Jazz in 2004.

This agreement was surrounded by controversy, becayuse he was only allowed to become a restricted free agent by the Cavaliers, because of his sly tricks. Boozer told the Cavaliers he wanted out of his contract to ensure long term security, and he stated he would remain with Cleveland.

He went back on his words and signed with the Utah for a considerably higher sum. He was a member of the 2004 USA Olympics "Dream Team".
